The lake is a mesmerizing sight that will leave you speechless for sure. We don’t have words to describe it. Spend the night at a camp close to the lake.

Day 9: Chandrataal to Manali via Kunzum and Rohtang Pass/ Atal Tunnel (120 kms/ 7 hours)

Some people call it tough, some call it adventurous and some call the drive of their life- this is the last day of your trip before you head back to civilization in Manali. The road between Chandratal and Manali is the toughest, roughest, and most scenic and we guarantee you will skip a few breaths this day. The non-existence of roads, a few water falls, dry and dusty make this terrain difficult. On the other hand, snow-capped mountains, Chandra River flowing to meet Bhaga and the vast landscape make your drive memorable. You get to choose which route you take, either the newly opened Atal Tunnel or the mighty Rohtang Pass. One thing you need to keep in mind is that you need to cross the Atal Tunnel before 2pm today as the tunnel is shut between 2-3pm every day for maintenance. Night stay at Manali.
